Hey there! I’m Ren, an illustrator/designer with a passion for storytelling and problem solving. Few things bring me greater enjoyment than creating visuals that tell a compelling narrative. Clear communication is is vital to authentic human
connection, and I can’t think of a more fulfilling mission than using my trade to strengthen that link.

 

I’m based out of Evansville, IN with 9+ years of experience in the industry, and an associate’s degree in visual communications. I specialize in kid lit illustration, surface design, custom lettering, and brand design.

 

I love fantasy books, anime, graphic novels, and being around trees. If I’m not illustrating or designing for my freelance clients, collaborating with other creatives, or hanging out with my husband, kiddo, and pups...you can probably find me working on one of my other creative pursuits!

 

My current personal projects include an author/illustrated picture book, drafting my first fantasy novel, designing bookish merch, or chatting about the experience of being a neurodivergent creative on my substack, Good Madness.
